29 Palms

Synopsis

A mix of avarice and honour brings out the viciousness in a group of disparate characters in the film noir, 29 Palms.  Eluding a good-natured, dope-smoking sheriff, a drifter steals a black bag full of cash from a desert bus depot setting off a chain reaction.

Unaware that the bag has fallen in and out of many hands, with everyone chasing the money, the drifter’s simple act throws him in the path of a violent cop, a perverted casino security guard, a mysterious hit man and a double-dealing judge all wanting the bag for themselves.

Forming an uneasy alliance with a waitress, who sees the bag’s contents as an easy exit from her nowhere life, the drifter tries to outsmart his pursuers and learn why the godfather-like owner of a reservation casino suddenly wants him dead.

Featuring a stellar cast including Emmy® winner Jeremy Davies (Lost, Justified), Rachael Leigh Cook (She's All That) and Golden Globe® nominee Chris O'Donnell (NCIS: Los Angeles, Batman & Robin).
